ABOUT NKEMS
NKEMS is a non-profit 501C3 corporation. It was founded in 1976
and is overseen by a Board of Directors made up of community leaders.
Over the many years, NKEMS provided ambulance services as well as
health and safety training. With the changes brought forth by managed
care, NKEMS has redirected its mission and is now focused strictly
on the health and safety training and OSHA consultation/training
for the Greater Cincinnati area.
As a Training Center for the American Heart Association and American
Safety and Health Institute, NKEMS is committed to assisting the
lay public to be better prepared in the event of a life-threatening
emergency, whether it occurs at home or at work. CPR and First Aid
training is the first step in this process followed by early defibrillation.
Therefore, NKEMS is eager to be involved in the implementation of
Public Access Defibrillation.
NKEMS instructors are all healthcare professions with extensive
backgrounds in emergency services. Therefore, our courses are taught
by persons who have previously utilized the skills being taught.
In addition, we employ experienced consultants and instructors to
assist with OSHA compliance and training. NKEMS offers regularly
scheduled training programs as well as specially designed on site
training for our clients’ convenience.
NKEMS can self design any training program to meet your specific
needs.
Look to NKEMS to address your health and safety needs and concerns.
MISSION STATEMENT
